In 2008, the University of Evansville Art Department entered into a contest against the University of Southern Indiana. Each team of senior designers conceptualized and created half of a Toyota Scion—panel by panel; the realized vinyl-wrapped car made appearances on each school’s campus. Votes were cast by students, family and friends, but the final decision was made by AIGA, Scripps Howard and Toyota Scion representatives. The winner? UE Art.
